Sunday Small Groups

Studying God's Word Together

Here you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We have different backgrounds and experiences, but most of all we are family.

Adult classes

This study explores how to become a Romans 12 Christian. The material will teach us to know what God wants from us and for us and help us build our relationship with Him.  Jan Schreck is leading this class in room A5.

What comes to mind when you think about your neighbors? Maybe you don’t know them very well or, if you’re honest, maybe you think the lady across the street is a bit weird. For many of us, it can be tempting to keep our distance and mind our own business in our neighborhood. But is that really how God wants us to live?

As followers of Jesus, we’ve been called to love both God and our neighbors. It’s easier said than done, but if we push past the fear, time barriers, and pride that can keep us from engaging with others, we can build deep connections with the people in our neighborhood and, most importantly, please God.

In this four-session series based on their book The Art of Neighboring, Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon help us focus on the people within our neighborhood and learn what it means to be a good neighbor. They discuss the importance of pushing through the uncomfortable feelings that come with communicating, investing in, and caring for the people who live near us. What would our communities look like if we took Jesus’ command to love our neighbors as ourselves seriously? Mary Reich is leading this class in room A1.

The Philathea class is studying “Where Do We Go From Here?” by Dr. David Jeremiah. This class will walk through ten phenomena occurring in our world today and how Biblical prophecy foreshadowed them. Pam Finck leads this class in room A3.

Children's Ministry

Kids will learn they can choose to do what is right and that Jesus is God’s Son, the Messiah and Savior. Kids will learn that God sent a Helper, and that people can tell others about Jesus. As kids grow in God’s Word, they will address these concept areas from the levels of Biblical learning: People, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and Community/World.

Nursery is provided for kids ages 0 – 2 years old in room A2.  Although there is no curriculum for this age range, there are plenty of toys and activities available for all stages of development.

Children who are ages 2 – 4 meet in room C4.

Children who are 5 years old – 1st Grade meet in room C1.

Children in 2nd Grade – 5th Grade meet in room C2.

Student Ministry

This spring, in Living Life Connected to Christ, we will look at some of the teachings of Jesus and discover the wonderful truths in John 13-16. Then, we will study Jesus’ teachings about His second coming in Christ’s Return.

Children in 6th Grade – 12th Grade meet in room C5 (Youth Lounge).
