Sunday Small Groups

Studying God's Word Together

Here you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We have different backgrounds and experiences, but most of all we are family.

Adult classes

Life often doesn’t make sense, and dishes up a lot more questions than answers. We simply don’t know why things happen the way they do. But we do know we can experience peace because God is with us and he loves us.

Loss is inevitable. Bad things happen. When the unexpected comes your way, your world is instantly turned upside down. You long to understand why. Why did my husband walk out on me? Why did my wife die of cancer? Why did I lose my job? Why am I struggling with mental health issues?

In this groundbreaking study, Pastor Rick and Kay Warren will help you understand the journey of grief and what to expect along the way. From the initial shock, to the unbearable sorrow, you struggle with reality and ultimately surrender on a pathway to peace and service. It’s not a linear experience but with God’s Word and his ways, he will carry you through it.

Grief is God’s tool for you getting through the transitions of life.

You can have hope knowing God is in control, he will bring good out of bad, and he has a plan to use your pain for a purpose.

Jan Schreck is leading this class in room A5.

This five-session small group Bible study, God Heard Their Cry, by noted teacher and historian, Ray Vander Laan, is volume eight of the 12-part Faith Lessons series. In this volume, Vander Laan illustrates how God answered the cry of the Israelites as they were persecuted in Egypt, and made himself known to both them and their oppressors. Vander Laan illustrates how, in ancient times, nothing was bigger than Egypt – powerful pharaohs, strong armies, and a multitude of gods. God’s people were no match against the Egyptians. In this volume of Faith Lessons, discover how God answers the cry of his persecuted people and proclaims himself Lord to them and their oppressors. Filmed on location in Luxor, Egypt; Deir al Medina, Ramesseum, and the Red Sea. The Faith Lessons video series is ideal for use in small groups, personal and family Bible studies, and adult Sunday School. Individual believers and families will gain vital insights from long-ago times and cultures through this innovative approach to Bible study.

Mary Reich is leading this class in room A1.

Bob Hostetler’s book, The Red Letter Prayer Life, explores the teachings and practice of Jesus on the subject of prayer. Discover how Jesus’ prayer life can enrich and enlarge your faith and life.
